What is Self-ish World ?

Self-ish World is here to remind you that you can have it all!

Self-ish World exists to remind you, yes you, that you deserve everything and more from life. The visions of life you keep close to your heart are the truth you came to live. You did not come to slow dance with mediocrity neither did you come here to be overwhelmed with bleakness. You came here to RISE. To live as divinity, the best way you know how.

All you need to do is show up and its yours.

Slow down, take a breathe, relax, laugh a little, dance a little.

Come alive!

Your life is yours and it is meant to be lived fully.

A Self-ish babe is not on the path to perfection but wholeness. She is eager to learn and love herself fully. She is ready to enjoy every minute of her life. She is intentional about taking care of herself so that she can show up fully for life.

Why Self-ish?

One of my favorite things to say and fall back on when I'm not really confident is, "It's in everyone's best interest that I live a life I love.," that I'm doing work that fulfills me, my relationships are juicy, my skin is healthy, I'm eating my fruit, I feel good about myself, all of it.

Think about it, when we are happy, we tend to spread joy. When we are doing work we love, there's a spark in our eyes, when we're paid well, we're generous and sleep better ar night, we have more time to build relationships and life is a whole lot better.

So how do we get there? We start loving ourselves fiercely and we let that love hold us as we live our truth. We meet ourselves daily and we make choices that would lead to our fulfillment. We know who we are, we know the truth in our bones and choose to live honestly. We release the things that do not support this truth while surrounding ourselves with the things that celebrate our truth.

Self-ish World is not based on the philosophy of denying others access to you or the things you offer. The Self-ish World philosophy is about truth, living from our truth and trusting that our truth

It's a heavy responsibility to think that our life depends on us but the more steps we take, the more support we get. We were never meant to do it alone.

And loving ourselves is only the beginning!

Welcome to my digital space. I'm so happy you're here!

I have decided that I am your designated hype friend who occasionally needs a reminder to follow her own advice.

I wholeheartedly believe that each and every one of us came to live a life we love. But to get there we need to release the blocks that keep us from living that life. This is what I started to do when I started my Self-love Journey in 2018. This is also what you'll see on the internet as "doing the work!"

With this work, I have grown from a girl who was always at the back, afraid to raise her voice and ask for what she wants into someone more sure of herself. I am learning to be more comfortable to be in my body, I am facing my shadows, opening my heart to love and getting used to the sound of my voice speaking my truth. I have devoted my energy into knowing myself deeply and loving myself fierceley. I feel responsible for this woman I feel I came here to be; she gives me chills and scares me with her bigness too but I know my soul would find perfect peace in her expression.

I can't keep anything I learn to myself, you can trust that I'll be sharing all that I learn. I hope the lessons serve you as much as they serve me.

I welcome you to dream, scream, dance, laugh and grow with me as we go through this journey.

I have a feeling it's going to be one we won't forget.

P.S I'm not always so intense, I can be the fun friend. When I'm not learning you can find me hosting dance parties in my room, soaking up the sun, reading a good book, singing along to DVSN, watching my favorite rom coms or satisfying my curiosity. You know, human stuff.
